The Los Angeles Estonians is the voice of the Los Angeles Estonian Society which highlights events and activities at the home of the LA Estonians — The Los Angeles Estonian House. The doors to our Estonian House are open to all guests.
On our web site newsletter archive link you can find all our newsletters and check out our recent newsletter for the listing of activities which await all Estonians, their families and friends as well as all who are interested in Estonia's language, culture and history. Take this opportunity to sign up for the Los Angeles e-mail newsletter. This is your best source for staying up-to-date with all Estonian House activities. The newsletter is bi-lingual and is published monthly.
Several organizations are active at the Estonian House. Every Friday evening the Estonian Mixed Chorus enjoys a rousing rehearsal. The Estonian School meets twice monthly in order teach our children Estonian values. Our seniors, old friends all, many for over 50 years, gather to enjoy each other's company. Last, but certainly not least, our Women's Club meets to maintain the joys of Estonian cooking and needlecrafts.
Every third Saturday of the month, the Estonian Kitchen staff provides a luncheon of Estonian culinary treats at the Estonian house. This New Year has brought changes to the Los Angeles Estonian House. Beginning in January, the Estonian Kitchen staff presents a guest from within the community. As California's Estonians have a wide variety of talents, interests, avocations and hobbies, these guest speakers are sure to keep everyone enthralled with their presentations as we meet to enjoy Estonian cooking every third Saturday of the month. Keep yourselves informed by signing up for the newsletter and find us in Facebook!
